Congratulations to Shaquille Hines who has signed a one year contract with Bambitious Nara in Japan B2 for the 2023-24 season.

The Chicago, Illinois native and University of Texas Rio Grande Valley alum is coming off his seventh pro season where he averaged 9.8 points and 4.9 rebounds while shooting 41.2% in 23.5 minutes for Jena in Pro A Germany.

This will be the high motor super switchy combo forward’s 2nd stint in Japan after a wonderful season in 2021-22 in Nishinomiya where he averaged 15 points and 5.8 rebounds.

I’m looking forward to seeing Shaq back in a great Japanese market where he has already proven his value and has so much more room for growth!
