Congratulations to Austin Luke who has inked a new one year deal with Den Bosch in the BNXT League and Basketball Champions League qualification round for the 2023-24 season.

The Belmont University alum and Rowlett, Texas native is coming off an absolutely glowing year, leading a valiant and overachieving Helios Suns club to a 12-1 ABA2 (2nd Adriatic League) record, a 22-5 regular season record in the Slovenian Basketball League (SBL) and a finals appearance in each league.

Austin’s leadership qualities and passing wizardry raised eyebrows in the eastern european basketball hotbed, where he averaged 11.8 points and 7.7 assists in the SBL and 9.8 points and 8.1 assists in ABA2.

For his efforts, Austin was named to Eurobasket.com’s All-ABA2 1st Team, All Slovenian League 1st Team and Slovenian League Guard of the Year.

On a personal note, it’s admirable to watch Austin face adversity in his career and bounce back stronger each time – last year was no different. I am excited to see where this next road takes him.
