Congrats to John Newman III who has signed a multi year deal with Niners Chemnitz in Germany’s easyCredit BBL and the prestigious BKT EuroCup competition.

The Greensboro, North Carolina native and University of Cincinnati alum had an impactful rookie season with Kortrijk helping lead them to a 26-10 record in the BNXT League, averaging 10.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game, while shooting 60.6% from inside the arc and 37.5% from three-point range.

This is a monster Year 2 move for John who slides into Europe’s second best international competition as well as a top tier German BBL.
