Congratulations to John Newman III who has signed his first pro contract, a one-year deal with Kortrijk in the BNXT League for the 2024-25 season.

The Greensboro, North Carolina native and University of Cincinnati alum is coming off a terrific year with the Bearcats where he was named to the BIG 12 All-Defensive First Team, while averaging 9.1 points (55.6% 2FG, 34.0% 3FG) with 5.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 29.2 minutes per contest.
