Congratulations to Johnny Berhanemeskel who has signed a one-year contract with Nanterre in EuroCup and France’s Jeep Elite league for the 2020-21 season. The Ottawa, Ontario native and University of Ottawa graduate is coming off of an excellent 2019-20 campaign where he split time between Larissa in Greece and Boulazac in France. Over 8 games in France last year, the 6’2″ combo guard averaged 14.4 points on 69% shooting from inside the arc, and a cold-blooded 51.3% from distance.
