Ryan Logan Signs First Professional Contract In Luxembourg

TORONTO, August 7, 2017 – Slan Sports Management is pleased to announce that Ryan Logan has signed his first professional contract with Basketball Club U.S. Hiefenech Heffingen of Luxembourg’s Total League.

Logan, a 6’7 power forward, is coming off of his senior season with the Stonehill College Skyhawks in the Northeast-10 Conference of NCAA Division II. In 27 games, Logan ranked ninth in the Northeast-10 in scoring averaging 17.8 points per game, led his team in rebounding with 6.6 per game, and added 3.6 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. He finished the season shooting 50.3% from the field. For the second consecutive year, Logan was named to both the All-Northeast-10 First Team and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II All-East District Second Team.

A Fredericktown, Ohio native, Logan attended Fredericktown High School, where he was named the Mid-Ohio Conference MVP and twice earned a spot on the Ohio All-State Second Team. Logan began his collegiate career at Stonehill College in 2013. As a freshman, he averaged 11.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, earning a spot on the Northeast-10 All-Rookie Team. The next year, he improved his output, averaging 13.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.1 steals. His contributions that season helped Stonehill finish the regular season tied for second in the Northeast-10 and he was named to the All-Northeast-10 Third Team. In his junior year, Logan led his team in scoring, assists, and steals with 17.6 points, 4.2 assists, and 1.0 steals per contest. He also pulled down 8.3 rebounds per game. That year, Stonehill reached the Northeast-10 Tournament Semifinals and the NCAA Division II Elite Eight. Logan earned spots on the Northeast-10 All-Tournament Team, the All-Northeast-10 First Team, and the NABC NCAA Division II All-East District Second Team.

Logan is looking forward to beginning his professional career in Luxembourg.

Heffingen finished the 2016-2017 Total League season with a 20-12 record.
