SSM is affiliated with Edge Sports International in the United States to manage our National Basketball Association (NBA) player personnel/negotiation.

Edge has a first-rate reputation with front office personnel in the NBA; it is regarded as a savvy, hard working and ethical company that gets results for its clients.

Keith Kreiter, Founder and CEO of Edge Sports International, has been advising athletes for 20 years.  Edge currently offers a full service platform to each client, contract negotiation, marketing, public relations, business advisory, etc.  Edge’s management approach has been labeled the future of representation.

SSM retains the services of Gordon I. Kirke in all legal matters.

Mr. Kirke’s practice involves the representation of many components of the sports business. Among the many athletes he has represented are hockey players including Eric Lindros, Mike Modano, Rick Nash and John Michael Liles, wrestler Bret “The Hitman” Hart, Olympic snow-boarder Tara Teigan, Olympic athlete Donovan Bailey, Olympic gymnast and TV commentator Elfi Schlegel, and WTA tennis star Sonya Jeyasselan. In terms of sports executives, Mr. Kirke has represented Pat Gillick (Baltimore Orioles, Seattle Mariners, Philadelphia Phillies), Gord Ash (Toronto Blue Jays), Paul Beeston (Major League Baseball), Richard Peddie (Toronto Maple Leafs//Toronto Raptors), John Bitove (Toronto Olympic Bid Group) and Eric Tillman (Toronto Argonauts). Mr. Kirke has acted for several sports teams including the Toronto Blue Jays, the Toronto Argonauts and the Indianapolis Colts. He prepared the original papers which created the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club and he has acted on all of the Jays’ major player contracts, including those of  Joe Carter, Roberto Alomar, Carlos Delgado, Roy Halliday, Roger Clemens and Jose Bautista, and radio, television and licensing contracts.
