Austin Arians Takes Part In Charlotte Hornets’ First NBA Pre-Draft Workout

TORONTO, June 7, 2017 – Austin Arians will take part in the Charlotte Hornets’ first NBA pre-draft workout today. 

Arians, a 6’6” forward, played as a graduate student this past season at Wake Forest, helping the Demon Deacons reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2010. He averaged 8.5 points per game and ranked 4th in the ACC in three-point field goal percentage at 42.7%. Prior to transferring to Wake Forest, Arians played three full seasons at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He won a Horizon League Championship in 2014 and averaged a career-best 11.5 points the following season as a junior.
