Trey Woodbury signs with Cluj-Napoca!
Congratulations to Trey Woodbury who has signed a one year deal with Cluj-Napoca for the 2025-26 season. Trey and his new club will participate in three leagues this year, the prestigious BKT EuroCup, ABA League as well as the Romanian playoffs!
The Las Vegas, Nevada native and Utah Valley alum spent the 2024-25 season with Aris Midea Thessaloniki in Greece and the BKT EuroCup, where he averaged 10.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 22.9 minutes across 12 EuroCup contests and 10.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steal in 29 minutes per contest over 25 greek league games.
This will be Trey’s second consecutive year playing in international basketball’s second best competition, the BKT EuroCup. On top of the 18 EuroCup games, Trey and Cluj will also play in a reinvigorated and prestigious in its own right, ABA league, with Euroleague power houses like Partizan, Red Star Belgrade and BC Dubai.
This is another big step for Trey to cement his status among basketball’s best. I can’t wait for what’s to come from a truly unique player with an incredibly bright future ahead.
Congrats, Trey!
