Congratulations to Tim Derksen, who has signed a new one-year deal with the Geneva Lions in the Swiss Basketball League for the 2020-21 season. The 6’4″ Tucson, Arizona native and University of San Francisco product is coming off of a year-and-a-half stint with Fribourg Olympic, where in 2018-19, he led the club to a league and cup championship. In 2019-20, Tim and company maintained their dominance in league play with a 19-1 record, where Tim averaged 15.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.3 steals per contest. Tim also had a great run in FIBA Europe Cup averaging 14.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
